The Audi A6 C7 (2011–2018) and C8 (2018+) are executive sedans popular among Malaysian business owners.
Case 1: C7 A6 3.0T — Supercharger Coupler (72,000 km)
C7 A6 3.0 TFSI, 72,000 km: customer heard intermittent rattle from engine bay at cold start. VCDS showed no fault codes but road test confirmed the characteristic supercharger coupler rattle. We replaced coupler + belt + tensioner as a preventive package (RM 3,200). Upon disassembly, the coupler had significant chunk missing — another 10,000 km and it would have scattered shrapnel into the supercharger. Money well spent.
Case 2: C8 A6 55 TFSI — Air Suspension + DSG (65,000 km)
C8 A6, 65,000 km: rear-right sitting 25mm lower than other corners overnight. VCDS: air suspension valve block fault (valve 4). Replaced valve block (RM 2,200). While car was in, we serviced DSG fluid (dark, never changed) and Haldex fluid (also never changed). Total service package: RM 2,200 (valve block) + RM 580 (DSG) + RM 350 (Haldex) = RM 3,130. Car now holds height perfectly and drives noticeably smoother.
