Polo 1.0T DQ200 Judder
The Polo AW 1.0T uses the same DQ200 7-speed dry-clutch as the Golf 1.4T — same judder pattern from cold. Port injection on the 1.0T EA211 Evo means no carbon buildup (unlike Golf 2.0T). Fluid change (G052182) + adaptation reset every 40,000 km is the key maintenance item. Mechatronic replacement if needed: RM 4,000–5,800. Polo is cheaper to run than Golf — parts and labour are similar but engine is simpler.
