Toyota Veloz A/C Not Cold Malaysia — 7-Seat Diagnosis
7-seat cabin puts heavy load on A/C. Low refrigerant, evaporator mould and blocked condenser are the top 3 causes.
Veloz A/C is a standard belt-driven system — same Denso setup as the Avanza. Common causes of weak A/C in Malaysian heat: low refrigerant, clogged cabin filter, dirty evaporator, or weak condenser airflow.
A/C Diagnosis
- Step 1: change cabin filter (RM 35–60) — most A/C complaints resolve with a new cabin filter
- Step 2: refrigerant top-up (RM 80–150) — check for leaks before refilling
- Step 3: evaporator chemical clean (RM 150–250) — cures musty smell and restores airflow
