Buying Used Proton X90 Malaysia — Checklist
Used X90 checklist: DCT shudder test. 48V BSG: no amber warning light. Software update history (Proton SC). Carbon: rough cold idle at 60,000+ km. Full SC diagnostic scan. Oil history (turbo spec). EPB function. Battery age (12V AGM).
- Proton dealer scan: DCT codes, 48V system faults, adaptation values
- Cold start: 3-cyl vibration normal; DCT shudder at 10–40 km/h is NOT normal
- 48V system: check dashboard warning lights — any BSG fault code?
