Proton Saga 1.3L VVT CAMPRO uses port fuel injection — fuel washes intake valves on every cycle. Carbon buildup on intake valves is NOT a concern for the Saga unlike direct injection engines. Standard throttle body cleaning every 40,000 km is sufficient.
