Wheel Alignment on Malaysian Roads
Malaysia's potholes and road humps (speed bumps) knock wheels out of alignment faster than in smoother-road countries. Signs of misalignment: car pulls to one side, uneven tyre wear, steering wheel off-centre. Alignment check costs RM 40–80; full 4-wheel alignment RM 80–150. Do it every 20,000 km, after hitting a major pothole, or when new tyres are fitted. Poor alignment causes RM 200+ in premature tyre wear per set.
