The Perodua Bezza (2016+) is Perodua's first sedan, using Toyota/Daihatsu-derived engines with a timing chain — no belt change.
Both Bezza engines (1.0L 1KR-VE and 1.3L NR-VE) use timing chains — no belt replacement cost. The chain is designed to last the engine's lifetime with regular 5,000 km oil changes.
