Aruz Model Guide
The Perodua Aruz (2019–present) is Perodua's entry into the 7-seater SUV segment, sharing the platform with the Toyota Rush. It features a 1.5L 2NR-VE naturally aspirated engine with Perodua D-CVT. Two variants are offered: AV (2WD, with ADAS) and X (2WD and 4WD). The Aruz is positioned above the Alza MPV for buyers who prefer a higher ride height and SUV styling. Compared to a Proton X70 or Honda CR-V, the Aruz is more affordable and easier to maintain — Perodua genuine parts are widely available. The 4WD version adds a rear differential for true all-wheel traction, making it popular among families who occasionally venture on unsealed roads.
