- Clean throttle body every 40,000 km or if rough idle/hesitation occurs
- Carbon and varnish buildup on throttle plate reduces airflow accuracy — causes rough idle
- Use throttle body cleaner spray — do not use carburettor cleaner which can damage throttle coating
