Iridium plugs are mandatory; copper plugs are not recommended for this engine as they wear faster and may affect VVEL variable valve timing performance. NGK ILZKBR7B8G or equivalent. Plug access from the top of the engine — no special tools needed. A misfire on the Sylphy may also point to ignition coil failure before suspecting plugs.
