Nissan Sylphy Workshop Cases Malaysia — 4M Car Care
Real cases from our Bandar Sri Damansara workshop: (1) Sylphy B17 95,000 km — low-speed CVT shudder, customer had no CVT fluid service record since purchase, full NS-3 flush and re-fill resolved shudder on test drive. (2) Sylphy B17 110,000 km — cold-start idle rough and slight timing chain rattle, oil was overdue and very dark, oil change + tensioner inspection resolved idle quality. (3) Sylphy B17 85,000 km — power steering whine on parking manoeuvres, power steering fluid was low and discoloured, full PS fluid flush cured the noise. (4) Sylphy B17 120,000 km — front end clunking over bumps, both front strut mounts worn through, strut mount replacement (both sides) restored the quiet comfortable ride.
Sylphy B17 Suspension + CVT Full Refresh — Petaling Jaya
A 2014 Sylphy B17 at 88,000 km came in with a knocking noise over road bumps and mild CVT shudder. Inspection found worn front lower arm bushings (both sides) and degraded CVT fluid. Work done: lower arm bushing replacement (both sides), CVT drain-and-fill with NS-2, engine oil change, and front wheel alignment. Post-service test drive confirmed the knocking and shudder were eliminated. Owner noted the ride felt noticeably tighter, comparable to a much lower mileage car.
