Mercedes-Benz GLC Suspension Service Malaysia — Shocks & Links
GLC uses a 4-link front / multi-link rear suspension. Shock absorbers and control arm bushings typically need attention after 80,000–100,000 km. Knocking over bumps and pulling are key symptoms.
Conventional (coil spring) — GLC 200 standard
- Shock absorbers (per pair): RM 700–1,500
- Lower control arm + bushing: RM 450–900 per side
- Sway bar links: RM 150–300 per side
AIRMATIC (GLC 300 4MATIC, AMG Line)
The overnight sit test is the simplest AIRMATIC check: park, check ride height the next morning. Any corner sagging 2–3 cm has a leaking air spring. Air spring: RM 1,800–3,500 per corner. Running on a leaking AIRMATIC long-term damages the compressor and body control module.
