Mercedes-Benz GLA DCT Fluid Service Malaysia — Wet DCT Guide
GLA wet DCT requires DCT-specific fluid changed every 40,000 km. Delayed or rough gear changes in KL traffic are often caused by degraded DCT fluid. Service costs and workshop process in Malaysia.
Same as CLA: identify gearbox type before selecting fluid. X156 GLA pre-2016 may have 7G-Tronic (MB 236.6 ATF). X156 GLA post-2016 and all H247 GLA use 7DCT (DCT-specific fluid, NOT ATF). Never use 9G-Tronic ATF (MB 236.15) in 7DCT.
Service Intervals
- 7DCT: every 40,000–60,000 km; 7G-Tronic: every 40,000 km
- Earlier if judder appears or fluid smells burnt
