Suspension arms (control arms) and their ball joints and bushes are what connect your wheels to the car body — controlling wheel movement over bumps and keeping everything in proper alignment. Warning signs of worn suspension arms or bushes
- Clunking or knocking noise over speed bumps — especially prominent in Malaysia

Diagnosis and repair cost

Bush replacement (per arm): RM 150–400 including labour. Ball joint replacement: RM 200–500 per joint. Full control arm replacement (arm + bush + ball joint as assembly): RM 350–900 depending on the car. Always do wheel alignment after any suspension work.
