Buying a Used BMW X6 Malaysia — Checklist
F16 N55: charge pipe, VANOS codes, ATF colour. F16 N63: dipstick on test drive, ISTA turbo fault scan — if consumption confirmed, walk away. G06 B58: water pump runtime, carbon. All: full ISTA scan, service history mandatory.
X6 Used Car Checklist
- ISTA full scan: engine, ZF, xDrive, air suspension, airbags
- Air suspension: ride height even all 4 corners? Compressor audible (normal) or grinding (bad)?
- N63 V8: oil level check mandatory — low oil = engine damage risk
- Drivetrain fluid records: ATF + transfer case + both diffs
- Tyre condition: X6 tyres expensive — factor into purchase price
Pre-Purchase Inspection at 4M Car Care
