The Q3 8U 1.4T with DQ200 dry-clutch DSG shares all the same judder and mechatronic issues as the A3 1.4T. The 2.0T DQ250 wet-clutch variant is far more reliable. F3 generation: the FWD 1.5T still uses DQ200 — same concerns. Quattro variants: Haldex coupling fluid every 40,000 km is the most-skipped service. EA888 carbon buildup at 60,000–80,000 km applies to all variants.
