Toyota Land Cruiser Air Filter Replacement Malaysia
Replace every 40,000 km — more often in off-road conditions. The V8 breathes a large volume of air; keep it clean.
The V8 diesel/petrol breathes a lot of air — the air filter on the LC200/LC300 is oversized by design. Change every 20,000–30,000 km in Malaysian conditions (dust and humidity degrade filters faster than temperate climates).
Air Filter Details
- OEM Toyota air filter: RM 80–120 — recommended for V8 engines
- Performance filter (K&N reusable): RM 300–450 — washable, long life, marginal power gain
- Never drive with a blocked air filter — the V8 will starve for air, increasing fuel consumption and engine wear
